Revolutionizing Education in Pakistan
Out-Class is a pioneering EdTech startup founded in 2021 by Aiman Bashir, a LUMS alumna, alongside co-founders Ali Nomani and Oosman Bashir. Dubbed the “Netflix for Students,” Out-Class aims to democratize education in Pakistan by providing high-quality, self-paced, and affordable learning resources to students across the country. The platform offers a wide range of courses, including test preparation and skill development, designed to cater to the diverse needs of learners.
In June 2022, Out-Class successfully raised $500,000 in a seed funding round led by House of Habib, with participation from other global institutional and angel investors. This investment enables Out-Class to expand its course offerings, enhance platform features, and reach more students in underserved areas of Pakistan.
The company has already made significant strides, serving over 10,000 students and planning to extend its reach to remote regions such as Quetta and Mardan.
